HANGNAILS

Hangnails can be caused by dryness, nail biting, cutting the cuticle, or from an injury. A Hangnail is more unattractive and annoying than a serious problem.
When attempting to remove a Hang Nail, should usually be cut using nail scissors or a nail clipper; biting them frequently makes it worse. This may lead to a painful infection called Paronychia.
