'HOW DOES MODERN PALM READING DIFFER FROM CLASSIC PALMISTRY?'
The history of hand reading dates back to the Old India about 4000 years ago.
The oldest known written reference to palmistry in the Vedic literature is found in the Vasishtha rule 21 (1st millenium B.C.), which describes for the ascetic life:
"Neither by (explaining) prodigies and omens, nor by skill in astrology and palmistry, nor by casuistry and expositions (of the Sāstras), let him ever seek to obtain alms."
THE ROLE OF THE SIMIAN CREASE IN MULTI-PERSPECTIVE PALM READING
But while the old Indian palmistry was solely focussed on studying isolated body signs in order to 'predict the future',
modern palm reading became in the 20th century influenced by the scientific approach for discovering new insights about hands via systematic research & combining hand characteristics.
Multi-Perspective Palm Reading is the result of many years of empirical research, and this new type of hand reading should not be associated with classic palmistry.
Modern palm reading can serve as a 'diagnostic tool' or an 'assessment tool'; not as a 'future prediction tool'!

'DOES MODERN PALM READING SOMEHOW RELATE TO ASTROLOGY?'
In many Asian countries is the practice of palmistry strongly tied with the practice of other predictive readings,
such as: an astrology horoscope,
numerology horoscopes,
name numerology,
or other types of numerology readings & divination tools (such as: the I-Ching, Feng-Shui & runes).
Because especially for Hindus these are generally considered as valid sources to consult as a life guide, especially when life changing choices are ahead.
But each continent appears to have it's own preference for using specific 'divination tools'.
In South-America are the tarot + the ouija popular: people outhere especially love the excitement induced by ouija boards.
While North-America, Europe & Australia developed a preference for psychic readings, tarot readings & numerology -
and especially the so-called 'love readings' delivered by psychic medium became a popular source of entertainment.
Multi-Perspective Palm Reading does not work with the astrology vocabulary at all, and it could very well be recognized as one of the hand reading system where the origins have no connections with astrology at all.

'HOW DOES MODERN PALM READING PROVIDE AN ANCHOR FOR
HAND-THERAPIES?'
Multi-Perspective Palm Reading is founded on consistent trends reported by (academic) scientific studies during the 20th and 21th century.
And therefore it can be recognized as an 'independent' type of hand reading, than can have a complementary value for all other modern hand reading systems such as:
PsychoDiagnostic Chirology, Elemental Chirology, Life Purpose Hand Analysis, Handology & Vedic Palmistry.
PALM READING, HAND ART & THERAPY READINGS
Multi-Perspective Palm Reading is a new type of (advanced) hand reading that focusses on identifying meaningful hand characteristics in 'multiple-perspectives' of the hand.
Because it does not work with any theoretical-, nor philosophical-, nor astrological concepts, it can be adopted by any palmist, palm reader or hand therapist!
And therefore it might even become accepted by people who have a strong affinity with academic science!
But it can also serve an an 'anchor' for various alternative methods & therapies such as: palm therapy, hand reflexology, colonics, acupuncture & acupressure.
