HANDRESEARCH.COM - MISSION STATEMENT:
|
|
This website serves as an independent resource presenting up-to-date info related to: hands & 'Hand Analysis'.
The sources of info usually concern the works of people who are professionally involved in the study of hands, and especially it's diagnostic aspect.
Therefore these sources may vary from: academic scientific researchers, to individuals & international organisations who are involved in the study & practice of 'Hand Analysis' (a.k.a. modern 'Palm Reading' or classic 'Palmistry').
But the author also presents his own 'hand-research' projects. These studies vary in a wide range, from projects focussed on describing the one-sided image of 'Hand Analysis',
to exploring studies related to the diagnostic potential of the human hand (especially in the fields related to psychology).
Research & evolutionary theories point out that the human hand has transformed from an organ of locomotion into an organ which serves intelligence.
Unveil our hands the future of human kind?
Or is the human mind being mislead by it's own intelligence - as pointed out by for example the notorious 'Barnum-effect' (a.k.a. 'Forrer-effect'), or possibly... the 'Dodo-effect'?
At the end of the first decade of the 21th century it has become obvious that the 'Hand Analysis' should no longer be associated directly with the classic aspect of 'divination' (reading fortunes).
For, next to the more credible applications of 'character interpretation' and 'life purpose orientation', there is also (international) agreement among academic scientists and modern hand analysts (palm readers & palmists) that various features of our hands do reveal significant information (reliable & valide) about our physical- and mental state of health.
I hope that HANDRESEARCH.COM can serve as a sincere guide to explore many fascinating details about hands & 'Hand Analysis'!! Martijn van Mensvoort, January 2010
