HOW HANDS RELATE TO
BEHAVIOR & THE PSYCHOLOGY
BEHIND PALM READING

Your hands are far more than what you might expect them to be. Basically, your hands are by far the most important 'tool' that is available in your life!

Technically, your hands provide you a multi-purpose system of body functions, including:

(1) a 'system for prehension' (holding, grasping);
(2) a 'system for perception' (touch);
(3) a 'system for expression' (gesture).

Beyond these (classic) functional aspects, tousands of academic scientific studies have pointed out that your hands are also suitable for a completely different purpose. For, your hands are also:

(4) a 'system for diagnostics': your hand is a barometer for your health, abilities & talents!

Ancient Palmistry books from China & India describes how obscure signs of the hand were used for predicting the future of individuals. But did the ancient teachings survive the test of time?

In the 20th century academic science has developed a new paradigma for understanding & using the hand as a (medical) diagnostic tool. But it's a fact that people usually associate 'reading hands' with the old application of future predictions. How come that the classic perception on Palm Reading & Hand Analysis didn't change?

Anno 2010 a large majority of modern Palm Readers & Hand Analysts around the world recognizes that the ancient Palmistry teachings are likely outdated. But can modern Palm Reading today meet any reality-testing requirements in terms of 'validity' and 'reliability'?

Modern Palm Reading became a matter of 'counseling': the modern Palm Reader & Hand Analyst (palmist) uses his/her experience & knowledge for offering consultations in: interpersonal functioning (relationships), personality assessment (character), spiritual orientation (life purpose), and health (prevention). But what are the 'key-elements' of modern palm reading?

Martijn van Mensvoort - hand researcher & psychologist from The Netherlands - conducted various studies in fields of Palm Reading & Hand Analysis, including: literature research, population research, psychology experiments & palmistry tests, and how the human hand is related to neuro-psychological features such as: autism, neuroticsm and handedness. Some of the studies were designed and developed hand in hand in cooperation with professional Palm Readers, Hand Analysts & Palmists from various countries in the world.

Each of the 11 'hand research projects' presents unique & authentic materials that relate to various aspects of your hands!
